Why it’s on the list: My dad has written the family tree for his side, my mum’s cousin has done one for that part of the family, but I would like to ahve some sort of tree to leave my kids showing them where they come from – both on my side and their dad’s.

How/when I’ll judge this task to be completed: When I have written the family tree for my children going back at least 5 generations.
