At first I was pretty sure I wasn’t going to like this – it just felt Iike your average chick lit book – girl meets boy, girl falls in love with boy, boy dumps girl …. and yes, to all intents and purposes that is the plot but the characters are really well painted, the story has some interesting twists and turns and the inclusion of so many delicious puddings is a big bonus – and I’m not even a pudding person! Very well written with enough going on to keep you turning the pages.
